Bayard Cutting Arboretum State Park

Box 466
Oakdale, NY 11769
(631) 581-1002
The Arboretum provides an oasis of quiet and natural beauty. Its current collection of conifers is probably the most extensive to be found on Long Island.

I did my research and there are NO roads to cycle in this state park - so please do not bring your road bike. IF you have a mountain bike it can come in handy to ride the trails for off season... This park is run only (unless you have mountain bike). Bunch of long trails - easy to get lost so making marks is a pretty smart idea!

*FOREST + PEOPLE IN SHORTS + BUGS = ALOT OF MOSQUITO BITES! PLEASE BRING THE BUG SPARY! YOU WON'T BE IRRITATED ON YOUR RUN FROM THOSE PESKY BUGS!*

**TIP: TO PARK AT ANY STATE PARK IT WILL COST 8-10 DOLLARS, TO SAVE SOME MONEY I RECOMMEND BUYING THE EMPIRE PASSPORT ($65 A YEAR). AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT ANY STATE PARK - PARK OFFICE; ONLINE; OR THROUGH MAIL.**
