Brookhaven State Park is 1,638-acres and is part of the central core of the Long Island Pine Barrens. The Park runs along the east side William Floyd Parkway north of Whiskey Road, and between NY 25 and NY 25A.

BIKE: The only bike road there is 2.3 miles. I am not positive how it looks - but research will be done! So if you want to bring your road bike you can! If not lots of long trails are there so mountain bike is an option. 

RUN: TRAILS TRAILS TRAILS is all I'm saying :) 

The bike road is optional too.
