Located on Long Island Sound the park offers a wide range of topography that sustains a variety of flora and fauna. The miles of beach meet tall, glacial bluffs at the shoreline.
SWIM: There is a beach there so you are able to swim at the park with no problem! *LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY ALWAYS*
BIKE: 1.1 miles going on up, 1.1 miles going down ~ There is a 1,018 feet of elevation gain! The hill isn't steep but it feels long! After the hill you turn back for a great downhill recovery.
RUN: There is supposed to be nice trails to run but I haven't found any but a 1/3 mile loop (didn't want to get lost) You can't have a long run here but you can surely run the boardwalk.

*FOREST + PEOPLE IN SHORTS + BUGS = ALOT OF MOSQUITO BITES! PLEASE BRING THE BUG SPARY! YOU WON'T BE IRRITATED ON YOUR RUN FROM THOSE PESKY BUGS!*
**TIP: TO PARK AT ANY STATE PARK IT WILL COST 8-10 DOLLARS, TO SAVE SOME MONEY I RECOMMEND BUYING THE EMPIRE PASSPORT ($65 A YEAR).
AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT ANY STATE PARK - PARK OFFICE; ONLINE; OR THROUGH MAIL.**
